Circa Sports announced Thursday that it had reached an agreement for a multi-year partnership with Marquee Sports Network, the Chicago television rights holder for the Cubs.
Circa Sports entered Illinois for mobile and retail last September as the licensed sportsbook of Full House Resorts, which operates The Temporary in Waukegan — approximately 45 miles north of Chicago. Circa will receive branding marks from Marquee, including title sponsorship of the network’s studio, which will now be known as Circa Sports Illinois Studio.
Circa Sports will also be the official title sponsor of spring training games on Marquee Sports Network as well as its 2024 Season Preview Special. Marquee will run Circa Sports’ live in-game betting odds during spring training and the regular season.
“Circa Sports entered the Illinois market just last year, so introducing the Circa Sports Studio with Marquee Sports Network is an incredible way to go into our first official baseball season out here,” Circa Sports CEO Derek Stevens said in a t statement with the network. “The Cubs are a historic franchise and we’re thrilled to bring watch parties and betting odds to Chicago sports fans.”

Circa Sports will hold monthly watch parties throughout the Chicagoland area for away games all season. Marquee Sports Network will also promote Circa’s “Take Me to Vegas Giveaway” in which two Marquee viewers will win a trip to Circa’s flagship casino and sportsbook in Las Vegas for Major League Baseball’s Opening Day on March 28.
The winners also get a four-night stay in a Circa suite, a table in the world’s largest sportsbook for Opening Day, a pool day at its signature Stadium Swim, dinner at Barry’s Downtown Prime, drinks at the Legacy Club lounge on the 60th floor of the property, airfare credit, and limo transportation.
“We’re excited to launch this terrific partnership between Marquee Sports Network and our friends at Circa Sports Illinois,” said Marquee Sports Network Senior Vice President Vincent Sollecito. “We look forward to continuing to provide best-in-class coverage from the Circa Sports Studio at Marquee Sports Network, and working with Circa to provide exclusive giveaway packages and watch parties for fans across the Midwest.”
Circa Sports generated $31.2 million in mobile sports betting handle in the three-plus months since launch, while its retail sportsbook has accepted more than $4 million worth of bets and topped $1 million handle each of the last three months.
The agreement between Circa Sports and Marquee Sports Network is entirely independent of the Cubs, who opened a sportsbook adjacent to iconic Wrigley Field in late June. The sportsbook has yet to be licensed by the Illinois Gaming Board to accept in-person wagers, though online bets can be placed there.
