Three teams from North Carolina made the Sweet 16 of this year’s men’s NCAA Tournament, the most of any state in the country. UNC, Duke, and NC State all find themselves in the Sweet 16 in the same season for the first time since 2015.

The Tar Heels face No. 4 seed Alabama on Thursday night in what could be a high-scoring affair. The game’s total of 173.5 is by far the highest of the eight games taking place across Thursday and Friday.
UNC is a 3.5-point betting favorite on FanDuel, as of writing, while ESPN BET lists the Tar Heels at -4.5.
Should UNC beat Alabama, the Tar Heels will face the winner of Arizona-Clemson. UNC didn’t face Arizona this season, but there’s a familiar face on Arizona’s roster. Former UNC guard Caleb Love leads the Wildcats in scoring, averaging 18.1 points per game. The Tar Heels split a pair of meetings with ACC opponent Clemson.
As for Duke, the Blue Devils are +350 to win the South Region and make the Final Four. Duke faces No. 1 seed Houston on Friday night in Dallas, and the Blue Devils are 4.5-point underdogs on FanDuel as of writing. They’re also +155 moneyline underdogs.
NC State is also in the South Region, and the Wolfpack have +1400 odds to make the Final Four. The Wolfpack are 6.5-point underdogs for Friday’s game against Marquette.
Houston (+100) and Marquette (+200) both have shorter odds than Duke and NC State to make the Final Four.
UConn remains heavy favorite 4t382
The UConn Huskies, who won the national championship last season, are the betting favorite at +210 on FanDuel.
UConn, as of writing, is a 10.5-point favorite over San Diego State on Thursday in a rematch of last year’s national championship game, while its moneyline sits at -690 on FanDuel. The winner will face the winner of Illinois-Marquette in the Elite Eight.
The Huskies are an impressive -230 on FanDuel to make the Final Four.
DraftKings offers a UConn vs. the field market, with the field holding -280 odds to win the national championship and UConn holding +210 odds to win it all.
