Justin Thomas signed a partnership agreement with PGA Championship in his home state of Kentucky, becomes the first athlete to partner with Fanatics Sportsbook.
“Justin Thomas is one of the biggest names in golf and an amazing ambassador for the game,” Ari Borod, chief business officer at Fanatics Betting and Gaming, said in a press release. “With him coming home to Kentucky to try to win his third PGA Championship, the Fanatics family couldn’t be more excited to partner with him.”
As part of the deal, Thomas is expected to showcase Fanatics Sportsbook product developments and be involved with social media content.
“I am excited to be the first official partner of the Fanatics Sportsbook,” Thomas said in a release. “Whether it’s football, basketball or golf, I’m a big sports fan. So I’m looking forward to getting involved in the world of Fanatics and engaging with their customers.”
The deal comes as Fanatics Sportsbook unveils improvements to its golf product.

The product changes include a “live event center with shot-by-shot data, leaderboard tracking, and course maps directly in the app,” according to a press release. The operator also plans to offer additional betting markets and settle wagers faster. In the future, Fanatics Sportsbook plans to allow bettors to stream some par 3 holes in their sportsbook app.
As for this weekend’s major championship, Fanatics Sportsbook is offering a FanCash promotion. Bettors who opt into the promotion will receive FanCash for every birdie made by the golfer they select to win the event.
Scottie Scheffler is the betting favorite across most mobile sports betting apps, including Fanatics Sportsbook. He’s +400 to win the tournament, while Justin Thomas holds odds of +5000. Thomas is a two-time PGA Championship winner.
