BetMGM is partnering with X, formerly known as Twitter, to bring sports betting information and odds to the social media platform, according to a Fortune report.
Details of the deal were not made available in the article, but Fortune reported the broad strokes of the partnership. X will be introducing a feature that will display odds from BetMGM and allow for s to place bets via direct link.
BetMGM recently updated its app offering in an effort to attract more customers.
“We developed our state-of-the-art sports betting platform to feature a variety of ways sports fans can engage,” BetMGM CEO Adam Greenblatt said in a press release right before the NFL kicked off this season. “The next generation of the BetMGM app is a giant step forward in the sports betting experience, increasing the level of entertainment before, during and after games.”
Fortune did not disclose financial information concerning the deal, nor a start date.
