sports wagering contest for Super Bowl LVIII.
The Las Vegas-based sportsbook said the 10×10 board will be open to bettors Jan. 29. Bettors participate by choosing the squares with the last digits of what they think each team’s score will be at the end of each quarter. Using last year’s Super Bowl as an example, a bettor who picked the second-quarter square with the Chiefs score ending in “4” and the Eagles score ending in “4” would have won based on Philadelphia leading Kansas City 24-14 at halftime.
Circa will again allow bettors the free range of all 100 squares and the ability to wager on as many possible combinations as they want. Bettors will also have the option to choose different scares for different quarters, with squares available for all four quarters.
The contest will again offer fixed-odds payouts, and each square within each quarter will have its own specific fixed odds, with less-likely combinations having longer odds than more common ones. The minimum bet for each square is $1.
Circa will offer the contest in its home state of Nevada as well as states where it has a mobile and retail operations late last September.
