Barstool Sports has signed a multi-year partnership with sports betting partner of Barstool Sports.
“We are back in the gambling business,” Portnoy said in another video. “We just formed a partnership with DraftKings. We’re back where we started. Big, huge deal. I don’t have the numbers, lot of zeroes, maybe the biggest deal in the gambling space with a partner. I don’t know.”
The move, ESPN BET.
Portnoy was viewed as a big winner of the PENN sale, as PENN originally bought Barstool Sports for $550 million and then sold the company back to Portnoy for $1.
DraftKings and Barstool Sports will kick off their partnership Monday with a free-to-play contest for a free-throw shooting contest in the Barstool Sports offices. Barstool employees are teaming up in an attempt to make 41 consecutive free throws.
