The overtime loss in Manhattan ended up being a sign of things to come for Self’s Jayhawks, as they went on to drop their next two contests against TCU and Baylor after losing to Kansas State. The three-game skid dropped KU to No. 9 in the country but they managed to rebound nicely with a big win at Rupp Arena on Saturday night against a Kentucky team that had won four straight prior. Now with their feet back underneath them, the Jayhawks will undoubtedly have revenge on their minds as they take on one of their biggest rivals at home.
