While major football betting apps basked in the afterglow of Taylor Swift’s arrival at MetLife Stadium to cheer on her new beau, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
New York, where she owns a residence. Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, and Hugh Jackman were among the other celebs who ed her for the game, as did Donna, who shared a friendly hug with the pop star.
AsNFL fans out of scores of Swifties, some of whom “Taylorgated” in the MetLife parking lot before the game.
What’s more, prop bets on Kelce and wagers on the Chiefs in general have soared in the past week. DraftKings, Kelce props ed for twice the handle on Sunday that they did in the first three weeks combined.
Over at FanDuel, Kelce-centric markets made up 20% of the total bets on the game and 14% of its handle. The last time Kelce played a regular season Sunday game in prime time — against the Chargers in November 2022 — the tight end’s markets comprised 13% of the bets and 8% of the handle for the game.
“The excitement we’re seeing for Travis and Taylor has continued to translate to increasing popularity for Kelce-related bets,” Karol Corcoran, FanDuel Sportsbook’s senior vice president and general manager, told Sports Handle on Monday. “We saw an 86 percent increase in bets and a 149 percent increase in handle for him to score a touchdown in last night’s game compared to last week. We’ll see if he’s able to deliver next week.”

Out of all the sportsbooks ed for this article, only Circa — two Vegas mainstays that appeal to sharper bettors — were unaffected by the “Tayvis” phenomenon.
“We aren’t a rec book,” said Jeff Benson, Circa’s director of operations. “This type of stuff doesn’t move the needle for our customers.”
The same cannot be said for BetRivers, a Kelce Anytime Touchdown (which, as Corcoran alluded to, failed to cash) was the most wagered-on player prop of the season, while Tipico saw a 122% weekly increase in Kelce Anytime TD bets as well as a 115% weekly increase in all Kelce props.
Similarly, Caesars, that same market had 30% more bets than any other player and attracted more than twice as many wagers as any player outside of Christian McCaffrey, who found the end zone four times against the Cardinals.
